beige is the new black

I have always loved brown/beige/nude-colored shoes. I have read a long time ago that it makes your legs appear longer and it's actually true! On top of that, you can practically wear them with any color and with any outfit - be it a dress, jeans, or shorts.

So since my blog is aptly named stilettos, the hubby took pictures of me wearing a few of my favorite brown/beige/nude-colored shoes.

Talking about stilettos - the hubby made a comment while we were on a long, precarious hike to the tide pools - let me tell you that when I say it's long, I meant we had to walk by a small cliff, over a river, in the middle of tall grasses and finally we had to climb on rocks. Literally climb on big rocks. Like spiderwoman.

Anyway, he made a comment that I could have probably made the hike wearing stilettos. Just goes to show how much he knows the wifey! I have prowess when wearing any kind of heels - meaning I could walk and climb anywhere. Like spiderwoman - only wearing 6-inch heeled boots. Hot.

Casadei booties

Ermanno Scervino peep toes (I wore this on an outfit on one of my past blogs and I'm sure this will be appearing in future blogs as well - weather permitting. This is one of my current faves!)

Christian Louboutin (I do believe that a lady needs to own a Louboutin or two. Or three.)

Sergio Rossi pointy-toed heels

Sergio Rossi round-toed heels

Steven by steve madden (Love these sandals. Wore them all summer with practically everything. They have a vintage-y feel to it with the studs on the sides and with the wooden heels. Kinda like a 70s feel. Love, love, love!)

Steven by steve madden lace-up booties (And that's my baby right beside me - my Sammie! She's a tremendous help with my fashion style. If she doesn't eat my shoes, that means she likes it. Though she ate to pieces my beige croc skin peep-toes. She ate it like she hasn't eaten in months. And that was one of my faves as well. Oh well, maybe Sam has her reasons.)
